Collection consists of two paintings Sleepless Nights with Marilyn Monroe and Day and Night. Both created in 2018 during #paintingaday challenge.
Sleepless Nights with Marilyn Monroe was inspired by a romantically tragic life of a Hollywood Icon Marilyn Monroe.
Focusing on her signature dreamy eyes. Playing with duality between reality and imagination. Glamorous career versus loneliness and isolating cage of fame.
Day and Night was a product of an instinct and imagination. Created with quick and decisive brush strokes. Painting was highly praised during the initial meeting with an art curator of the Artesenal in Malaga. Especially for its vibrant, dynamic and brave shades of orange and blue.
Postcards of both artworks can be purchased at The Samuel French Bookshop in a heart of Sloane Square on the first floor of the renown Royal Court Theatre.
Following Freeman's project to make art more approachable for all. As well as inspiring a sparkle of creativity present in each and everyone of us.
